Hello everyone,
Critical health situation in Cambodia - Sihanoukville moves to RED zone!
Unfortunately, Covid19 cases have increased exponentially over the last 4 weeks. There are hundreds of new cases every day. As a result, containment in the cities has been tightened, and 80% of Sihanoukville has been placed in a red zone! This means that people living in the closed-off areas can no longer go out to see their families or to buy supplies at the markets (most of which are already closed!).
Klang Leu is already in the ORANGE zone... but certain parts of the district have been placed under total quarantine due to cases of Covid or suspicion of new contamination through proximity to sick people.
For the moment, no case of Covid has been detected among the families we support.
We provide masks and hygiene products and regularly remind people of the measures to follow to avoid exposure.
Together, let's ensure the survival of children and their families!
Since February, the children have still not returned to school or to centre , except to receive lunch boxes and weekly food support. It's vital for them!
Together, we can make a difference!
We desperately need all your support to feed the children and their families!
The aim is to raise €10,000 to support centre for the next 3 months, and keep centre 's heart beating.
Our team is relentless, working day in, day out to guarantee the distribution of meals and food supplies, without which the children and their families have nothing!
But the volumes of food distributed have increased enormously in the last month, and we need all your support to guarantee these meals, drinking water and distributions to the children and their families.
Help us today.Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference!
As a reminder, €1 provides a family with a day's supply of rice.
With €30, you can provide a whole family with a month's supply of this staple food.
Thanks to you, it's possible!
