ART, SPORT AND GAMES

Extracurricular activities play a central role in our programs at Centre. We offer children and teenagers the opportunity to engage in a variety of fun and creative activities such as painting and drawing, cultural activities including Khmer dancing and singing, as well as sporting activities. These activities are designed to enable children to express themselves and develop through art, sport and play.

SPORTS

Every day, we add to our range of sporting activities at Centre, ensuring a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Thanks to the commitment of a volunteer, the children recently benefited from an introduction to yoga, which aroused keen interest in both young and old. Three times a week, the children take part in soccer training, but that's not all. We've added new sports to our program: volleyball, basketball and badminton are now available as options, and swimming lessons are offered every week.

We provide all the sports equipment needed for these activities, as well as sport-specific equipment.

Sessions are structured so as to begin with a warm-up, followed by a series of sport-specific exercises, and conclude with games or matches. Thanks to this diversity and the quality of our coaching, our young sportsmen and women excel: the teenage girls at Centre have distinguished themselves by winning the regional soccer title.

dances and fun activities

Our animator regularly leads the learning of various Khmer dances and songs.
Cultural education is one of the important elements covered by the association's objectives.

Through games, children learn the basics of English. At the same time, games enable children to develop their interpersonal skills, experiment with collaboration, success and failure. These calm or lively moments help to mobilize and develop different talents and skills.

MANUAL ACTIVITIES

Children love to express themselves through drawing, and we provide a variety of materials, including paints, crayons, cut-outs and models, to develop their artistic sense.

Our gardener leads a daily gardening session in which the children take part with great pleasure. He also offers the children arts and crafts activities, such as creating planters for planting vegetables, repairing some of centre's equipment, building wooden frames to accompany their beautiful creations...
