As part of our ongoing efforts to improve living conditions for our young people, we recently undertook the construction of a multi-functional taproom, designed for hand and tooth washing as well as dishwashing.
This new initiative is the fruit of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for all the children in our community. In many of the underprivileged households we support, we have found that access to basic hygiene products is a constant challenge. That's why we distribute soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, toothpastes and cleaning products every month to the families we support.
While many of our children live in families facing extreme poverty, we have observed that access to adequate hygiene facilities is not always a priority. In these circumstances, simple hygiene gestures such as hand and tooth washing can be neglected.
As well as the physical health aspects, it's important to recognize the personal impact this can have on children's self-image and self-confidence. By providing an environment conducive to regular and effective hygiene practices, we also aim to boost their self-esteem and self-confidence.
That's why the construction of this taproom is so important. By bringing these essential activities together in one place, we facilitate access to vital hygiene practices for our children. The sinks have been specially designed to meet the needs of children and adults alike, offering the right size and height to ensure comfortable and safe access for all.
We firmly believe that this initiative will not only help to reinforce children's hygiene practices, but also raise families' awareness of the importance of these simple gestures for their children's health, well-being and self-confidence. We look forward to seeing the tangible benefits of this multi-purpose hygiene space materialize over the coming months.
