"My name is Panha and I'm 10 years old. I live alone with my mom and my little 6-year-old niece, Reaksa. She's my big sister's daughter, who left home and stayed with us. My mom works in a factory in the city as a cleaner.

I've been coming to Centre EKL with Reaksa every day for almost two years now. I love going to Centre because I can do so many things! Play volleyball and soccer with my friends, read, rest, eat well and learn. I study every day with Tevi and his lessons motivate me to do well at school.

We have lessons in my favorite subjects, Khmer and math, and thanks to that, I've made good progress and in Grade 4 I was ranked in the top 5 of my class every month! I've just moved up to Grade 5 [CM2 equivalent] at school and I'm going to keep up the good work."
